CUSTOMER BUYER TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made on GekkhoGear.com, including Club Shops hosted on behalf of partner sports clubs.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. About Us

Gekkho Gear (“we”, “us”, “our”) designs, produces, and fulfils branded sports apparel and accessories on behalf of UK sports clubs and other organisations.

All purchases are made directly from Gekkho Gear.
Club Shops are hosted for convenience; clubs do not fulfil or dispatch orders themselves.


2. Products

2.1. Product images, colours, and mock-ups shown on the website are for illustration purposes. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings or fabric type.

2.2. Many items are made to order. Small variations in print, colour, or positioning may occur and are considered normal for sublimation, screen printing, heat press transfer printing or custom sportswear manufacturing.


3. Placing an Order

3.1 Order Types

Customers may place the following types of orders on GekkhoGear.com:

a) In-Stock Products

Items that are available for immediate dispatch.
Your order is accepted once payment has been processed.

b) Made-to-Order / Customised Products

Items produced specifically for you, including:

  • Club-branded apparel

  • Personalised items (names, numbers, initials, custom print)

  • Sublimated sportswear

  • Colour-custom variations
    These are manufactured once your order is placed.

c) Made-to-Measure Products

Products produced to customer-specific measurements or body dimensions.
These are fully bespoke and cannot be cancelled once production begins.

d) Back-Order / Pre-Order Products

Items temporarily out of stock or sold in advance of production (e.g., event shirts, team kits, special releases).
Estimated fulfilment dates will be displayed on the product page.


3.2 Order Confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it.
This does not constitute acceptance of the order.

An order is confirmed and accepted only when:

  • Payment has been successfully processed, and

  • The order has entered the fulfilment or production stage.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order prior to acceptance if necessary (e.g., design errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud).


3.3 Changes or Cancellations

In-Stock Products

You may request a cancellation before the order is dispatched.
Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled, but you may return it under our standard returns policy (if applicable).

Made-to-Order, Customised or Made-to-Measure Products

These items cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded once production has begun because they are created specifically for you.

You may request changes only if:

  • You contact us immediately after placing the order, and

  • Production has not yet started

We cannot guarantee that changes can be made in time.

Back-Order / Pre-Order Products

Cancellations may be possible before production begins.
Once production has started, the order is treated as a made-to-order item.


3.4 Responsibility for Order Details

Customers are responsible for ensuring all order information is correct at the time of purchase, including:

  • Size selection

  • Personalisation details (names, numbers, initials)

  • Delivery address

  • Colour or design choice

  • Measurements for made-to-measure products

Errors provided by the customer do not qualify for refunds or replacements.


4. Pricing & Payment

4.1. All prices are shown in GBP (£).

4.2. Payment must be made in full at checkout using the methods offered (e.g., credit/debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.).

4.3. Prices may change at any time, but once an order is placed, the price will not change.


5. Production & Delivery

5.1. Many products are custom-made. Production times vary and are shown on the product page.

5.2. Estimated delivery times provided at any point are guidelines only.

5.3. Delivery may take longer during busy periods, supply-chain delays, or for pre-ordered items.

5.4. We deliver to UK addresses. International delivery may be offered for some products.

5.5. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation.


6. Shipping Issues

6.1. If your order is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, please contact us at support@gekkhogear.com.

6.2. We will investigate with the courier and provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.

6.3. Claims for missing items must be made within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.


7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

7.1. Custom or Made-to-Order Items
Most items sold on Gekkho Gear are custom-made, personalised, or produced specifically for your club.
For this reason, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Incorrect personalisation provided by the customer

7.2. Faulty or Incorrect Items
We will replace or refund items that are:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect compared to your order

7.3. Faults must be reported within 14 days of receipt with photos and a description.

7.4. If a return is required, we will provide instructions and a pre-paid label where applicable.


8. Sizing

8.1. Size guides are provided for each product.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check measurements before ordering.

8.2. As our clothing is handmade and printed, sizing tolerances of up to ±2 cm may occur.


9. Club Shop Relationship

9.1. Items purchased from a Club Shop are sold by Gekkho Gear, not the club.

9.2. Clubs cannot issue refunds, replacements, or exchanges.
All customer service queries must be directed to Gekkho Gear.

9.3. Clubs may receive a commission or fundraising payment from your purchase.


10. Events, Pre-Orders & Limited Releases

10.1. Some items (e.g., event shirts, team kits, tournament merchandise) may be offered as pre-orders.

10.2. Pre-order delivery dates are estimated and may change due to production volume or supplier delays.


11. Liability

11.1. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

11.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss caused by incorrect information provided at checkout

  • Delay caused by third-party couriers

  • Minor variations in product appearance


12. Data Protection

12.1. We process customer data in accordance with UK GDPR.

12.2. Personal information is used only to manage your order and deliver your products.

12.3. Your data is never shared with clubs except where necessary to produce personalised items.

14. Governing Law
