DINK Brighton is a vibrant club and coaching academy that delivers opportunities to learn, play, and compete across Brighton & Hove. Known for its buzzing atmosphere and inclusive philosophy—”dinking hard and laughing louder”—the club serves players of all ages, mobilities, and skill levels, from social matchplay to representative league teams like the Brighton Storm and Thunder.
THE CHALLENGE: Beyond the Court
As DINK Brighton does not own its own permanent facilities, its “home” is its community. To solidify this identity while playing at various leisure centers like Stanley Deason, the club needed a kit that could:
Create a Mobile Clubhouse: Provide members with a sense of belonging and “home” through a shared aesthetic, regardless of where they are playing.
Support Diverse Athletes: The gear had to be comfortable and high-performing for everyone from “Over 65s Learn to Play” participants to competitive tournament players.
Reflect the Brighton Spirit: The design needed to be as energetic and welcoming as the city itself, moving away from “stuffy” traditional sports attire.
